The backstitch platform will resize any image when uploaded. However, we have created a few tips to best control how the image looks.
The general size that works well for both web and mobile and can be versatile without distorting the image too much is:
- 1000 x 225 pixels {at} 150 dpi
When an image is created at this size, it provides the best optimization for the app and image. Typically, the smaller the better when it comes to web and mobile apps. However, we know how important it is to have a quality image, which is why we came up with the above formula.
Make sure the file size does not go over 500 kb for optimal performance.

- Keep the most important elements towards the middle.
- Keep in mind, the Topic title will overlay in the very center of the image. However, you can always turn off the header text in the Topic.
